We know your kids would rather be doing something other than visiting us, so we provide a full array of services to help make your visits helpful, efficient, and easy.
Well child check-up
Your child deserves a happy and healthy life, and well child check-ups are vital to the health and well-being of our patients. We’ll track how children are growing, showing their height, weight and head circumference (in children under 2 years of age) to ensure your child is growing and developing well. We’ll provide parents with useful information in the care of their child, as well as provide routine immunizations to prevent potentially serious illnesses.
At Florence Primary Care, we understand the different views on childhood and adolescent immunizations. We encourage you to speak to us about your concerns. We feel the same way the American Academy of Pediatrics and the CDC and encourage vaccinations. We firmly believe that vaccines are a safe and effective way to prevent serious illness and save lives. A sick child is a priority. If your child is ill and needs to be seen, please call the office early in the morning. Sick appointments are taken quickly, particularly during peak illness times. For calls made early in the morning, we will make every attempt possible to see your child on the same day. Appointments at the end of the day are kept open for sick children needing to be seen after school or daycare. Have your babysitter or daycare notify you immediately if your child becomes ill. If you think your child needs to be seen, please call our office as soon as possible.
